Your data, handled straight.

PipsDuel is a trading league you compete in on your own live broker account. We read results to rank you — we never hold your money and we never store your broker password. Here's exactly what that means for your data.

1. Who we are

PipsDuel (“we”, “us”) operates the trading esports league at pipsduel.com. For any privacy question or data request, email privacy@pipsduel.com or reach us on our Telegram channel.

2. What we collect

Email address — when you join the waitlist or sign in. We use passwordless login: we email you a one-time link instead of storing a password.
Broker connection details — to rank you we connect to your trading account in read-only mode: the account number (login), server, region and platform (MT4/MT5), plus the equity and closed-trade volume we read to score the leaderboard.
Basic technical data — standard request logs (IP, browser) kept by our hosting provider for security and abuse prevention.

3. What we never store

Your investor (read-only) password. You enter it once to establish the read-only link; it is passed straight to our brokerage-data provider to open the connection and is never written to our database or logs. We keep only the account identifiers above.
Payment or card data. Entry is free — there is no checkout, so there is nothing to store.
Your funds. Your money stays in your own broker account at all times. A read-only connection cannot trade or withdraw.

4. How we use your data

To run the league: verify your entry, read your equity and trading volume to rank you on the leaderboard, confirm you meet a challenge's minimum-lots rule, pay out the prize, and email you when challenges open or close. We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.

5. Who we share it with

Only the providers needed to run the service: our brokerage-data provider (MetaApi) for the read-only equity feed, our hosting and email infrastructure (Vercel), and the partner broker when you choose to open an account through our link. We never sell personal data or hand it to third parties for their own marketing.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Entry is free because PipsDuel earns a commission (a rebate) from the partner broker when you open a live account through our link and trade. That rebate is what funds the prizes. You're never charged for it — but you should know the relationship exists.

7. Your choices

Disconnect your broker any time — change your investor password at the broker and the read-only link dies instantly.
Unsubscribe from challenge emails via the link in any message.
Access or delete your data — email privacy@pipsduel.com and we'll action it.

8. Retention

We keep your email and account identifiers while you're an active participant and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain season records and verified standings. Ask us to delete them and we will, except where we must keep minimal records to honour a paid prize.

9. Changes

If we update this policy we'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you by email. Continuing to use PipsDuel after a change means you accept it.

Read-only, always. The only thing PipsDuel can do with your broker connection is read equity to rank you. It can never place a trade or move your money.
